Note for Juniors: Never ever opt for this elective called Operational Research (O.R.). I spent approximately 4 days studying this damn subject, in addition to the 3 days along the course of semester(1 day each for the 3 unit tests)... means i spent maximum time on this subject, but still I couldnt get a hang of it... in fact loathed doing those cumbersome problems... And theres no guarantee that u making it big in this subject:(
And... hearty thanks to my (former) project batchmates... gee, thanks to u, i got exceptionally grt marks in labs:)
And we have cancelled Ganesha celebrations this year... well, once its discontinued, its very difficult to catch hold of ppl and put it back on rails... and many are soo busy in their work and headaches, outgrowing from loitering youngsters... I can say with some wisdom, maybe the Ganesha days are over.. its now upto the next generation... but there are very few small kids around... so maybe it might be a looong time b4 theres a Ganesha again at 29th cross:(

hmm, well, saw the usual places in there, my second visit to Padmanabha Swamy after 5 yrs... Also the much anticipated visit to Chitra Art Gallery... Lost all the respect for Raja Ravi Verma... found his works too too amateur.... the compositions nevertheless are good since they are traditional but the mood and enigma is missing.. no wonder foreign Schools of art consider him a non-entity...
The best part was the Nicholas Roerich and his son's 18 works.... wow wow wow, they are too grt... spent some 1 hr just staring at them. They really really appealed to me a grt deal... the trips worth it only to see these works.
then to Kovalam beach and usual antics there. next to Botanical Research Institute in Palode.. wow, the place is too good.... full of scientists and endangered plants all over countless hills and streams... worth the trouble in sweltering sun to rural kerala.
back to Bangalore and unpleasant welcome when an autodriver demanded Rs.60 for a distance of just 4kms, just because i alighted from a Volvo bus... no no, went for another auto.
