windfall!

i am too happy today... many of my frens (12 close ones) are placed in TCS... somethign like a windfall to all.... feeling really high... Its been really a carnival even during the recruitment time... many knew a large number will be taken in... and i fooled around for these 2 days even when coll wasnt there! grt to be with frens...........

oh... too much activity these days... i wish to update my journal more... but feel too sleepy to do after the power-packed days! too much to write so i skip many!

but most notable to mention was the flop show of going to the film Channakesava Reddy with santosh reddy. after 2 days of haggling, when we turned up, we learned it was replaced 2 days back:-( haha... really a nice flop show after all the publicity!

btw, Lenson gave a treat for his job these days... god... almost all of us' future is somewhat clear! thanks to PES... it never woud have happend if i studied elsewhere... i get irritated when someone tels PES is strict.... noway... if u have any doubts how to spend time in class and campus and outside and the leeway we take, ask dilip and his gang!

Having a very very easy going these days... the only tension being getting into coll b4 8:15 in the morn, b4 the gates close for late-comers!!!

read quite a few short stories, comics (ya, i still do that!)... and a bit of roaming and eating outside (the usual stuff)... hmm... 20 lazy days is too long a time to hibernate... I right away need another challenge to be engaged ... u never know, what comes when and where!

and more importantly.. i nowadays am sleeping a lotttttttt... infact more than 12hrs on an average (including a couple at the college!).... yawn.. i am fresh, well-fed, charged, in search of a new hobby and i am ready for action.

Just saw Beautiful Mind... never thought a film can be made like that... a real classic...i think the film applies to each and all... all have an unreal world of their own... and sooo many variations of it in so many different people... and its an interesting facet in each's lifestyle....

btw.. have this terrible cough and sorethroat throat these days... for abt a week I avoided taking any antibiotics giving a chance for my resistance to fight the infection. well... i gave up today. started on antibiotics as I found the suffering too bad and no sight of subsiding :-(

shoud say GRE  is damn good one when it comes to efficiency and operation. The service is grt, they responding within minutes of any query. Got a replacement test for Analytical section and I scored full 800/800. feeling high!

somedays back now, celebrated a great Deepavali. First day with my friends in locality fighting each other with rockets! Second day with coll gang in Monish's place and the third with the family:) who can ask for more?

hmm... went to Sangama (2 rivers meet there) with reddy, teddy, Jai and Satchi the other day.

Read The Godfather by Mario Puzo. Pretty mediocre literature though the story is too good. Infact the movie conveys a lot than the book. Also saw The Patriot by Mel Gibson, frankly, a forgettable film.
