After a long wait, some 4 months, finally H2o, an Upendra Kannada
film has arrived. Been to it with dabba, rightu, holihott and
kapisha. Really enjoyed the movie. Mahadeva, my fren, ended up with
a sore back, with all my vitriolic pats on his back. To enjoy his
films, assume you are a daily-wage labourer, ignore all the
loose-ends, goof-ups and a stupid story line and of course, even the
inhibitions of the mind, and then follow your heart.
The reactions, comments and noise of the crowd was too good and
with nostalgia, I remember those days long years back, when I used
to go to the first days Chiru shows.

Off to Kemmangundi with my college frens moni, jai, santu, teddy,
ajji, satchi, jaggu, meese and madhu, a total of 10. Some 13km walk
downhill from Kemmangundi to Kallathipura (having some stupid falls)
with all the luggage. Though I despised it, in the hindsight, its
nice for that tortuous time, giving me an opportunity to go beyond
my endurance levels. Excellent sleep out in the open in the night.
On 30th, I saw my greatest waterfall till date. Hebbe Falls was
too good. The only thing that scared me was when I saw 2 leaches
right next to me. Great view from z-point in the evening.

Went to the film "Lord of the Rings" with Jai, Moni,
Ganja, Paapu, Yathin and Ramnath. Oh no, had to entertain myself in
the end by laughing! Whenever I close my eyes, I see that ring.
Got pissed off by the insincerity of some hired labourers involved in some
construction so much, that I myself went to the houses of new guys to hire
them.
Went to my friends place and while playing with her dog, my shirt (a
pretty old one) got torn a bit. Oh, never realised that I would get a new
shirt as present from her, that too the same day.
Attended Santosh's house-warming ceremony. Excellent house.
Been to my Grandpa's place in Sadashivnagar for this great get-together.
Sometimes I feel that relatives are as good as friends. Though I am of the
opinion that one can choose his friends but not his relatives, the bond
among relatives sometimes seems as durable as damn good friendship.
Friendships may not last when all is not right, but relatives have to meet
with no choice sometimes. And this gives a opportunity to patch up when all
is not right. And there is this added advantage of all pitching in
monetarily and also social support, which one finds very much a sticky issue
among frens. Hey, I am making this proverb now itself "Friends are
for us, relatives are for our family"!!!

Teddy's sis marriage. Full day in the marriage hall. Spent the night out, literally!! i really wanted to spend the night out in the open, alone. its been a pretty long long time i seen the stars while sleeping.

Spent night at Santosh's place. A private Gruhapravesha to start at 3am the next day. Though, I went there to supposedly help, me reached there at 10:30pm, slept well, only getting up at 7:30 am the next day!!! poor santosh, should have seen him fretting.
Return journey by 2 buses and a train. Reached bangalore at 5am the next day.
Reached Kottayam. Hired a Qualis to Pamba from there. Water being thrift there, driver took us to a secluded spot with fantastic flowing water. Worth every penny of the ride. Climb was tiring and rejunevating at the same time, as usual. Had darshan by night. Spent the night at Sannidanam itself.
To sabarimala. 9pm train to Kottayam, with a fren of mine, Sandeep. Though going for the
4th time, this is the first time I am going all
alone ( not considering him, as he is making his debut). Also, first time I have
the rights to handle others' Irumudi as I am technically a Guruswami.
