to Madanapalli, Horseley Hills, Rishi Valley
24/2/2003
4 leisurely days in Rayalaseema... went over to AP to spend time with father on my bike... its a joy to ride on grt roads and very thin traffic...

saw Okkadu... an average film with a botched second-half...

when we were set to go to Horseley Hills, one of the coolest places of Andhra, Karunakar Reddy rammed the car into a milestone while parking!! so we set out the next day... me, Krupakar Reddy (close chaddi-dost) and Kesava Reddy...

also visited the campus of Rishi Valley school, founded by late Jiddu Krishnamurthy... its vast but supports very few number of students... surrounded by hills and so secluded and autonomous that it even has its own hospital... its considered one of the best schools in the world.. my uncle studied there loong ago... no wonder he carries the designation of General Manager now...

rock-climbing
16/2/2003
went for rock-climbing yesterday near Turrahalli, some 15kms from here at the outskirts of the city... spent the night there itself, setting up a camp and tents... it was excellent, especially becos of full moon day... came just now after 2 sessions of climbing, one in morning and one in evening... ooo my hands are paining...

to the sleep-breakers
14/2/2003
This is for the sleep-breakers Darshan T and Kiran Kumar... Now that exams are over, I take this oppurtunity to thank these guys for waking me up by calling late into the night for almost each exam for last 3 years... Thank you guys... and also to a number of others who chipped in from time to time to wake this Kumbakarna!

and Darshan A, ya, the good ol' darshan, called up just now that he got placed in PlanetAsia... I am very happy for him...

heights of joblessness! -  to Nelamangala
13/2/2003
with exams getting over we suddenly became high-spirited... we 6 guys including 3 very looong legged ones in Monish, Jaidev and Ajay cramped together in the Zen and headed for Nelamangala, a town nearby Bangalore for one of the wackiest reasons ever :-)

btw, today was Jaggu's turn to treat us for his job...

dreamy eyes
9/2/2003
i am feeling very lazy today... and sleepy...

jaggu got a job... ya hez placed... and only very few of the "gang" left waiting in the wings... jaggu also started a journal over the Net... check him...

btw, been to AeroIndia 2003 airshow on friday... what striked me most was not the planes but the trademark Rayban Aviator sunglasses of those airmen, swarming all over the place... i once had one, gifted by my father... the same old Aviators, he told he was once using it... and it was as good as new... but the most undeserving person took it from me... circumstances were such then :-(

hmmm... jaisingh gave his long-overdue treat.... burp!

Realistic Heaven
6/2/2003
exams are almost over and therz 1 week free time... but maybe not for me... its always like this.. this time no better... its something or the other and i ended up busy within 2 hours after exam!

btw, IciciDirect sucks... there was this stock on which I wanted to book some profit, but I couldnt access my Demat for some 20mins... and by this time, others had booked profit and the stock came down by 1.5% in this time... am using it for last one and half years because of TINA factor, but now there are sooo many others... and i am on a lookout for a better one than IciciDirect.

and i come across very sweet strangers time and again... this time in the form of a blue-collared guy... the world outside is full of them.. its just that we have to look things in the right way, to find this world is nothing but infact a "Realistic Heaven" :)

hmmm spent some 2 hrs today morn on gardening (better call it pruning!!)
